Appointments & Referrals

To make an appointment, please call the Appointment Line at 318-456-6555. Booking on the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal is not currently supported.

You’ll need a referral for any care your primary care manager does not provide, such as urgent, preventive, mental health, and specialty care. Find out more about getting referrals and authorizations on the TRICARE website.

To check your referral status, visit humanamilitary.com three to five days after your referral has been placed, or call 1-800-444-5445.

After receiving care from your off-base specialist, obtain records of your visit and bring them to your on-base provider’s clinic. This will minimize delays in follow-up care and the records retrieval process.
