The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

If you have a scheduled appointment or other business at the MTF, please verify with your provider or applicable office within the MTF to ensure there are no changes in schedule. To learn how the lapse in appropriations affects your TRICARE benefit, visit www.tricare.mil/shutdown

Health Services

X-Ray

What We Do

Routine radiology services, known as x-ray due to the type of electromagnetic radiation used to produce the images of bones and soft tissues (such as chest and extremities imaging), are performed on a walk-in basis, and require a radiology referral completed by your health care provider. We provide services to all the clinics in the hospital.

We perform:

  •  Routine x-ray
  •  Scoliosis surveys

We Do Not Perform:

  •  Adult and Pediatric skeletal surveys

Exam Preparation

Depending on which part of your body is being scanned, you may be asked to:
  • Take off some or all your clothing and wear a hospital gown/disposable shorts
  • Remove metal objects, such as a belt, jewelry, dentures, removable retainers, and eyeglasses, which might interfere with image results
